Gloom-hued goth greats The Sisters of Mercy are ready to tour this black planet again — or at least the North American portion of it.
The 26-date tour this autumn comes after a brief 2023 run that featured frontman Andrew Eldritch and Co.’s first concerts in the United States in 14 years. Eldritch will be joined by veteran guitarist/bassist Ben Christo, guitarist Kai (Esprit D’Air), and Chris Catalyst, who will serve as the “duty nurse” for drummer Doktor Avalanche, perhaps the band’s most cherished member, when the trio reunites in its most recent incarnation.
Sisters of Mercy will be joined on all dates by Blaqk Audio, the dark-pop and electronic side project of AFI’s Davey Havok and Jade Puget.
