Ohio State’s Rising Star: Tavien St. Clair’s Multi-Year NIL Partnership with Panini America
Tavien St. Clair, a standout quarterback from Bellefontaine High School in Ohio, has solidified his future both on and off the field by committing to The Ohio State University and entering into a multi-year Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) agreement with Panini America, a leading sports and entertainment collectibles company.
A Promising Athletic Career
St. Clair has demonstrated exceptional talent throughout his high school career, throwing for 29 touchdowns and 2,536 yards, and adding eight rushing touchdowns in his senior season. His performance has earned him a top-five national ranking among quarterbacks in the Class of 2025. In December 2024, he officially signed with Ohio State, joining a quarterback roster that includes notable talents such as Julian Sayin and Lincoln Keinholz.
The Panini America Partnership
The exclusive partnership with Panini America will feature St. Clair in their line of collegiate trading cards and memorabilia products. He will also participate in select Panini marketing activities. Expressing his enthusiasm, St. Clair stated, “As I enter the next phase of my football life, I’m excited to partner with a leader in the trading card space like Panini. Growing up, you dream of having your own Panini trading card—to actually have that happening and use it as another way to be connected with Ohio State fans is incredible.”
Panini’s Expansion in the NIL Space
Panini America continues to expand its presence in the NIL landscape by partnering with top collegiate athletes. Jason Howarth, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Athlete Relations at Panini America, commented on the partnership, saying, “Tavien is a very dynamic player, and we’re excited to see what he will do at the collegiate level for Ohio State. We are excited about the opportunity to work with Tavien as he starts his collegiate career and we can’t wait to offer fans products featuring Tavien.”
St. Clair joins other prominent quarterbacks, including his future Ohio State teammate Julian Sayin, in securing exclusive NIL deals with Panini America.
Looking Ahead
As St. Clair transitions to collegiate football, his partnership with Panini America not only highlights his athletic prowess but also underscores the evolving opportunities for athletes to engage with fans and brands through NIL agreements. This collaboration sets the stage for an exciting journey ahead for both St. Clair and Ohio State football enthusiasts.
