WNBA standout Angel Reese quickly became one of the league’s faces during her debut season with the Chicago Sky, and her appeal stretches far beyond basketball.
Reese has received huge endorsements this year, including from Hersey’s Reese’s Pieces, the name of her fans, and has made an impression in the fashion world with appearances at the Met Gala and a Louis Vuitton party ahead of the Olympics.
She has also been on stage at various concerts, surprising her rap bestie Megan Thee Stallion. Most recently, Reese expanded her personal brand by starting her own podcast, “Unapologetically Angel.”
The show premiered in September with rap star Polo G, and her influence in pop culture continues to be seen. To promote an upcoming podcast episode, Reese collaborated with rapper Latto and singer Mariah the Scientist, uploading an epic self.
Unfortunately, Reese’s record-breaking rookie season was cut short due to wrist surgery, but it was a memorable campaign. She finishes the year averaging a double-double, setting league records for single-season and consecutive double-doubles, leading the league in rebounds, and becoming the first player to have three consecutive games with 20 or more rebounds.
She averaged 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds per game, as the Sky battle for a playoff position. Angel Reese has made his home here.
