In the track and field world, Alica Schmidt is regarded as the “sexiest athlete” and has a sizable fan base. The 25-year-old German racing star, though, recently experienced a fangirl moment upon meeting Hollywood actors Martin Lawrence and Will Smith. A video of her qualifying for the Paris Summer Olympics in 2024 was circulated on social media.
On X, “Track Spice” shared a video that shows Schmidt chatting and taking photographs with Smith and Lawrence. The video, which included Schmidt’s fangirl moment with the “Bad Boys” actors, was captioned “Alica Schmidt meeting Will Smith and Martin Lawrence 🔥.” Schmidt was also seen getting the autographs of the two stars.
Alica Schmidt, who competed in the 4×400 meter relay at the World Athletics Relays in the Bahamas last weekend, punched her ticket to Paris. She also posted an Instagram Story featuring her and her teammates celebrating being accepted into the Olympics. Alongside German athletes Manuel Sanders, Johanna Martin, and Emil Agyekum, she exclaimed, “What a night.”
However, Schmidt’s path to the Olympics is packed with noteworthy accomplishments. During the 2017 European Athletics U20 Championships, the German runner placed second in the 4 × 400-meter relay, and again in the 2019 European Athletics U23 Championships, the squad placed third in the same event. She coached the fitness of Bundesliga team Borussia Dortmund in earlier times. While Schmidt did not compete, she was a member of the German relay team at the 2020 Summer Olympics.
